Top Winning Bitch 2006 #2 on upeasti Wiivi. Huisisti onnea Janne!!! Wiivin äiti Selma sijoittui hienosti sijalle 4. Urosten puolella parhaaseen sijoitukseen koiristamme ylsi Porthos, joka sijoittui hienosti viidenneksi käytyään vuoden aikana peräti 34 kertaa kehässä. Suur õnnesoov Hilja!!! Kun sijoituksissa huomioidaan kaikki näyttelykäynnit on tulos tosi hieno varsinkin kun sekä Porthos että Wiivi kilpailivat lähes koko vuoden 2006 vielä juniori- ja nuortenluokasta käsin. Myös Aatos, Saurus ja Saxon löytyivät mukavasti Top 20 listalta. Paljon onnea Anu & Jukka ja Senja!!!
Siiri ja Pesonen ovat käyneet tutustumassa hevosiin Ruskeasuon talleilla.
Lola, Nita, Siiri, Trea, Pesonen ja Saida aloittivat hakutreenit 16.12.07. Treenien päälle otettiin sitten vielä pentujen yhteinen leikkituokio. Mukavaa oli :) Iso kiitos treeniryhmällemme sekä pentujen omille ihmisille. Hommat jatkuvat joulutauon jälkeen.
Samaan aikaan Porthos kilpaili Ruotsissa Pohjoismaiden Voittajassa. Tuloksena mukavasti valiourosten viides sija. Hea reisi Hilja & Porthos. Kaikki Remarkabull koirat viettävät nyt näyttelytaukoa mutta palaavat uudella innolla kehiin taas tammikuussa niin Suomessa kuin muuallakin Euroopassa.
Kävin moikkaamassa Wiiviä ja Andyä. Wiivi oli palautunut entisiin mittoihinsa ja energiatasokin oli kohdallaan kuten tuoreista kuvista voi jokainen itsekin päätellä.

Results are in for the Top Winning Bullmastiffs 2006. I'm happy to announce that Top Winning Bitch #2 is Wiivi. Loads of congratulations to Janne!!! Wiivi's mother Selma took a very good 4th place. Our best dog was Porthos, who placed 5th after being in the ring for 34 times. Big congratulations Hilja!!! In Finland all shows count and you can't, for example, select the best 5 results to be counted for, so I'm very happy with the results specially since Wiivi and Porthos competed from junior and intarmediate classes most of the year. Aatos, Saxon and Saurus were also in Top 20. Lots of congratulations Anu & Jukka and Senja!!!
Siiri and Pesonen visited Ruskeasuo stables to meet some horses (see the pictures above).
Lola, Nita, Siiri, Trea, Pesonen and Saida began SAR training with forest search the 16 th December. After training puppies had fun and played together. We had fun:) Big thanks to the people who train in our group as well as the home crews of the pups. We'll continue after the Christmas break.
At the same time Porthos was in the ring in Sweden for the Nordic Winner show. He placed 5th in CH dogs. Nice trip Hilja & Porthos. Now all Remarkabulls take a break from the ring but will return with renewd energy in January both in Finland as well as other parts of Europe.
Visited Wiivi and Andy. Wiivi is back in shape and her energy levels are what they should be as you can see from her new pictures.

Voittajanäyttely kisattiin viikonloppuna. Meiltä kehässä mukana Porthos, joka parhaana Suomessa kasvatettuna uroksena sijoittui mukavasti sijalle PU4 (VAL ERI4 PU4). Sauruksen tulos tällä kertaa VAL EH. Olen erittäin tyytyväinen poikien esiintymiseen sekä tuloksiin varsinkin kun tuomari jakoi reippaalla kädellä myös sinistä ja keltaistakin nauhaa! Kiitos Hilja jälleen kerran hienosta näyttelytuloksesta :) Oli myös mukava nähdä kehän laidalla useita Remarkabull kasvattien omia ihmisiä. Tuomari: Marit Sunde, Norja

Finnish Winner took place this weekend. Porthos finished with BD4 making him the best Finnish bred male. He was also 4th in CH class with excellent. Saurus got VG in CH class. I'm very happy with the way the boys showed themselves. I'm also happy with the results specially since this time the judge used Good and even Sufficient quite a bit! Thank you Hilja once again for a nice show result :) It was also very nice to see the homecrews of several Remarkabulls on the ringside. Judge: Marit Sunde, Norway

A-pentujen keskenäiset leikkituokiot sekä tutustuminen toisiin koiriin ovat jatkuneet mukavasti. Iso kiitos pentujen aktiivisille omille ihmisille. Gege kävi tänään meillä ja suuntasimme yhteiselle metsälenkille. Siiri on puolestaan tänään aloittanut pentuleikkikoulun. Loistohomma Riikka & Siiri :)

A-pentue on ehtinyt 12 viikon ikään ja ensimmäiset rokotukset on annettu. Saida kävi rokotuksessa eilen ja samalla tehtiin Selmalle kattava terveystarkastus. Meillähän koirien vuosittainen terveystarkastus verikokeineen aloitetaan koiran täytettyä 5 vuotta vaikka koirassa ei sairauden merkkejä olisikaan. Selma todettiin terveeksi :)

A-litter is now 12 weeks old and have received their 1st vaccinations. Saida visited our vet yesterday and Selma had her thorough health check. We start these yearly health checks with bloodworks for all our dogs when they turn 5 yrs even if they show no signs of illness. Selma passed with flying colours :)

Windy on tänään käynyt virallisissa terveystutkimuksissa. Lonkkien ja kyynärpäiden lisäksi tutkimme myös silmät -terveet, sydämen - terve sekä selän - terve. Lonkka- ja kyynärtuloksia joudumme odottamaan hetken aikaa. Windy oli erittäin timmissä kunnossa josta ISO kiitos Paulalle.

Windy had her official health checks today. In addition to hips and elbows we also checked her eyes - healthy, heart - healthy and back - healthy. Hip and elbow scores take some time to be evaluated. Windy was in excellent condition and BIG thanks for that goes to Paula.

Selma juhli eilen 5 v syntymäpäiviään. 
Ylihuomenna juhlat järjestetään Saurukselle sekä E-pentueelle, jotka täyttävät 3 vuotta. Kasvattaja onnittelee :) Ensi viikolla onkin sitten jo A-pentueen vuoro mennä rokotettavaksi... Näin se aika lentää!
On ollut mukava huomata miten aktiivisesti A-pennut ovat tavanneet toisiaan leikin merkeissä. Saidaa ovat käyneet leikittämässä Pesonen, Gege sekä Siiri. Lisäksi tapasimme viikonloppuna Kokkolassa Ronjan (kuvia tulossa myöhemmin). Siiri ja Pesonen ovat tavanneet jo useamman kerrankin ja myös muita leikkitreffejä on suunnitteilla. ISO kiitos kaikille aktiivisille A-vauvojen omille ihmisille!

Selma had her 5th birthday yesterday. Day after tomorrow Saurus and the rest of the E-litter have their 3rd birthday party. Breeder congratulates :) Next week it is already time for A-litter to have their vaccinations... Time sure flies!
It has been very nice to see how active A-litter has been in meeting with play in mind. Saida has been visited by Pesonen, Gege and Siiri. We also met with Ronja in Kokkola this weekend (pictures coming later). Siiri and Pesonen have met already more than once and there are other play meetings planned. BIG thanks to all active homecrews of A-babies!

Porthos sijoittui 10.11.07 Baltian Voittaja 2007 näyttelyssä hienosti sijalle PU2 voitettuaan ensin valiourokset ERIllä. PU2 tilasta Porthokselle kotiinviemisiksi myös VACA. Porthos took 2nd best dog in the Baltic Winner 2007 the 10th Nov, 07 after winning CH dogs with excellent. He also got the Res-CACIB. All other Winner 2007 titles that were on offer in the 3 Baltic countries Porthos won earlier this year. Great work Hilja & Porthos and naturally big congratulations :) Judge: Ann Ingram, Ireland

8 pentua on jo muuttanut omiin koteihinsa. Antti muuttaa keskiviikkona ja Signe lentää Ruotsiin 5.11.07. Kotiin harrastuskoiraksi jää pieni Saida. Pentueen päivitykset ovat tällä hetkellä hieman sekaisin mm. nimien ja kuvien osalta mutta yritämme saada nekin kuntoon mahdollisimman pian. Sivuilta löytyy kotiinlähtökuvat kaikista muuttaneista. Lisäksi muutamalla pennulla on jo oma Trivia :)
8 pups have moved to their new homes. Antti moves this wednesday and Signe flies to Sweden the 5th Nov, 07. Little Saida stays home and hopefully works with me in SAR in the future. Updates for A-litter are an ongoing process at the moment in particular with names and pictures, so little patience is needed. There are, however, going home pictures added to all of those already left and there are even couple of Trivias, too :)

Mintun lonkkakuvat tulivat takaisin Kennelliitosta tuloksella E/E, ei nivelrikkoa. Koiran lonkkamaljat ovat todella matalat. Onneksi lonkkamaljaa on jonkun verran ja toistaiseksi nivelrikkoa ei ole. Mintun selässä ei todettu röntgenkuvissa muutoksia. Luonnollisesti Minttu jää jalostuskäytön ulkopuolelle ja siirtyy Miian omistukseen. Harmi...
Minttu's hipscores came back from Finnish Kennel Club and unfortunately she got E/E, no arthrosis. Her cups are quite shallow. Luckily she has some cups and there is no arthrosis. Her back was also x-rayed and there were no changes. Naturally Minttu is not going to be used for breeding and she will from now on be Miia's dog. Such a pity...

A-pentue on eläinlääkärintarkastuksessa todettu kunnossa olevaksi ja lisäksi pennuille on suoritettu jalostustoimikunnan pentuekatselmus. Pentue on rekisteröity ja ensi viikolla suurin osa pennuista muuttaa jo omaan kotiinsa. Pentueen yhteisestä kuvagalleriasta sekä useiden pentujen omilta sivuilta löytyy tuoreita kuvia :) Pentueen äitikoira, Wiivi, on siirtynyt kokonaan Jannen omistukseen ja palannut eilen kotiinsa. Suurkiitos Janne hyvästä yhteistyöstä!

A-litter has been checked by my vet and everything is as it should be. Bullmastiff Breeding Committee has also checked the pups. Litter is registered and next week majority of this litter will move to their own homes. There are new pictures in puppy picture gallery as well as in several induvidual galleries :) Wiivi, the Mom, is now Janne's dog and she returned home yesterday. Big thanks to Janne for good co-operation!

Pennut pääsivät ulkoilemaan ensimmäistä kertaa viikonloppuna. A-pentueen yhteisestä kuvagalleriasta löytyy kuvia reippaista ulkoilijoista :) Lisäksi Nasu, Pesonen, Puh sekä Mutka ovat saaneet omaan kuvagalleriaansa ulkoilukuvat.
Porthos jatkoi loistosuorituksia näyttelykehässä! Romanianreissun toinen näyttely sujui vielä paremmin kuin ensimmäinen eli Porthos oli kehässä 07.10.2007 tuloksenaan valioluokan voitto ERIllä, PU2, SERTI sekä VACA. Tuomari: Stelios Makaritis, Kreikka. Kyseessä oli Porthoksen 25 serti! UPEAA TYÖTÄ HILJA & PORTHOS :)

A-pentue on saanut oman sivun. Jatkossa pennut löytyvät kohtasta Pentueet-> A-pentue 2007. Jokaisella pennulla on oma sivunsa sekä kuvagalleriansa, johon on nyt lisätty kustakin pennusta viikon ikäisenä otetut kuvat. Pennut on nimetty "työnimillä", jotka varmasti vielä jatkossa muuttuvat pentujen omien ihmisten toimesta :) Yhteiskuvia löytyy kohdasta A-pentueen pentukuvat.
A-litter has its own page. You can find it from Litters-> A-litter 2007. Each puppy has his/her own page and gallery, where I have added pictures of each puppy at one week old. Puppies have been named using "work names" and I'm sure they will be called something else by their homecrews :) There are also pictures in A-litter puppy pictures.

Erikoisnäyttely 18.08.2007 onnistui Järvenpäässä osaltamme hienosti :) Uroksissa jaettiin ainoastaan 7 ja nartuissa 8 eriä, joten on sanomattakin selvää että olen alla oleviin tuloksiin erittäin tyytyväinen:

Tällä kertaa, ehkä hieman yllättäen, parhaimpaan Remarkabull suoritukseen venyi Saurus. Päivä oli todella mukava; sää suosi, seura oli erinomaista, piknik maukas, kehä suuri ja kilpailu kova. Kiitos Miia Saxonin esittämisestä sekä Sauruksen esittämisestä kasvattajaryhmässä ja Johanna Aatoksen esittämisestä. Kiitos kasvattieni omistajille. Ilman teitä kasvattajaryhmä olisi mahdotonta saada kasaan. Oli myös mukava nähdä, että erikoisnäyttely kiinnosti useita tulevaisuuden Remarkabulleista kiinnostuneita. Ensi vuonna taas isolla porukalla mukaan!!

Finnish Speciality took place the 18th August, 2007 and our dogs did really well :) Only 7 dogs and 8 bitches received excellent, so it goes without saying that I'm very pleased with our results:

This time Saurus surprised us and took our best placement. The day was really nice: good weather, excellent company, tasty picknick, large ring and hard competition. Thank you Miia for handling Saxon & Saurus in the Breeder's Group and Johanna for handling Aatos. Thank you goes to all the home crews of the Remarkabulls. Without you it would be impossible for me to show my Breeder's Group. It was also nice to see that several people interested in the future Remarkabulls were present. Next year we are hopefully able to show with more dogs!!

Wiivi on ultrattu tänään ja masusta löytyi asukkeja. Toivomme, että kaikki sujuu hyvin ja jäämme odottamaan syyskuun toista viikonloppua jännityksella :)
Erikoisnäyttelyyn 18.8 Järvenpään matkailukeskuksessa on ilmoitettu 67 bullmastiffia. Tervetuloa katselemaan näyttelyä ja moikkaamaan meitä!
Wiivi had her ultrasound today and it looks like she is going to be a mother. We hope everything goes well and wait for the 2nd weekend of September with excitement :)

Kävimme Wiivin kanssa astutusreissulla Ruotsissa viime viikonloppuna. Matka oli pitkä ja monivaiheinen mutta astutukset onnistuivat ja pääsimme lopulta turvallisesti takaisin.
SUURI KIITOS Hanssonin omistajalle Andersille sekä Susannelle ja koko Fagrellin perheelle vieraanvaraisuudesta ja mukavista päivistä. Meillä oli hauskaa!
We travelled to Sweden with Wiivi for mating last weekend. Our journey was long and there were numerous twists and turns along the way but matings took place and we made it home safely at the end.
BIG THANKS to Anders who owns Hansson, Susanne and the whole of family Fagrell for their hospitality and friendship. It was fun!

Porthos traveled to Visby, Sweden for two shows. First one, all breed CH show, was on Saturday. He won open dog with CQ and ended the day with BD, CC, S CH -title, BOB and BIG1 :-)

Brutus ja Windy osallistuivat tänään Hämeenlinnan näyttelyyn. Mukavasti meni :-) Windy voitti juniorinartut EH:lla ja Brutus sai avoimesta luokasta tulokseksi EH3.

Osallistuimme tänään Sauruksen kanssa tokokokeeseen Salossa. Saurus oli huomattavasti reippaampi kuin viimeksi ja tuloksena ALO3. Luoksepäästävyydestä saimme 10 ja luoksetulosta 9. Myös seuraamiset sujuivat aika mukavasti. Parannettavaa jäi paikalla oloon ja liikkeestä pysähtymiseen sekä hypyn osalta ohjaajalle ;-)
Saurus took part in obedience trial in Salo today. He was much more active than last time and our result was 3 in the beginner's class. Saurus scored full 10 points for accessibility and 9 for approach. His heel work was okay. There is still work to be done in down stay and stop. There is also work for me... Saurus jumped perfectly but I need to practice some more ;-)

Hilja and Porthos came from Estonia the 18th May. Next day Porthos and Wiivi were shown in Rauma all breed CH show with smashing results. Porthos won open dog with excellent and finished with BD, CC, BOB and added FIN CH to his incredible list of titles. Wiivi won CH bitch with excellent and got BB & BOS. In the afternoon Porthos took home BIG1 :-)

Eurasia 2007 took place in Moscow, Russia the 24-25th Feb. Porthos represented Remarkabull bullmastiffs with excellent results:-)

Porthos edusti meitä upeasti Tallinnassa 10-11.02.2007 :-)
Lauantaina Tallinnan KV-näyttelyssä tuloksena oli VAL ERI1 PU1 ROP CACIB. Kyseessä oli Porthoksen kahdeksas cacib. Tuomari: George Kostopoulos, Kreikka
Sunnuntaina oli vuorossa erikoisnäyttely, jossa tulokseksi VAL ERI1 PU1 ROP BIS4. Lisäksi Porthos palkittiin parhaasta bullmastiffin päästä. Tuomari: Pamela Jeans-Brown, Englanti

Porthos represented us in Tallinn the 10-11th Feb, 2007 with style :-)
Saturday he was shown in Tallinn INT show where he won ch class with excellent and finished with Best Dog, Best of Breed and his 8th cacib. Judge: George Kostopoulos, Greece
Sunday was time for the Estonian Speciality. There he first won ch class with excellent, then took Best Dog and Best of Breed and finished with BIS4. In addition he got a special prize for the best bullmastiff head. Judge: Pamela Jeans-Brown, England

Pärnu Koerteklubi on eilen palkinnut Porthoksen vuoden 2006 kaikkien rotujen menestyksekkäimpänä juniorina!!!! Lisäksi Porthos sijoittui vuoden näyttelykoirakisassa hienosti kolmanneksi. Aivan mahtava suoritus nuorelta koiralta joka käytännössä kilpaili koko vuoden juniori- ja nuortenluokasta. Ma olen nii uhke teie näituseaasta 2006 tulemusist Hilja & Porthos :-))
Pärnu Dog Club announced yesterday that their Top Winning Junior 2006 all breeds is our Porthos!!!! He also placed 3rd in Top Winning Dog competition counting all breeds. What an achievement from a young dog who was shown in junior and intermediate classes most of the year. I'm so proud of you results from the show year 2006 Hilja & Porthos :-))

Wiivi on siemennetty 17.1.07. Nyt sitten vaan odotellaan ja toivotaan parasta.
Minttu on käynyt 17.01.07 virallisessa silmätarkastuksessa ja samalla kuvattiin myös kyynärpäät. Mintun silmät ovat kaikilta osin terveet. Onneksi olkoon Miia :-) Kyynärpäiden arvostelu saadaan sen valmistuttua.
Saurus oli kehässä Lahden ryhmänäyttelyssä viime viikonloppuna tuloksella AVO EH1. Tuomari: Jouko Yrjölä
Porthos osallistui Sloveniassa kolmeen näyttelyyn viime viikonloppuna. Tulos oli upea! AVO ERI3, AVO ERI2 VARASERTI ja erikosnäyttelystä AVO ERI1 PU2 SERTI & SLO MVA. Kyseessä on koiran SEITSEMÄS VALIOTITTELI joten Porthos on MULTI CH!!! Aivan käsittämättömän hieno saavutus Hilja :-)
Porthos on lisännyt tittelirivistöönsä Puolan, Valkovenäjän, Balttian ja Latvian Muotovalion arvon. Onneksi olkoon Hilja & Porthos:-)
Wiivi has been inseminated the 17th Jan, 07. Now we just wait and hope for the best.
Minttu's eyes have been officially examined the 17th Jan, 07 and are healthy in all parts. Congratulations Miia :-) We also scored MInttu's elbows and wait for the official grading.
Saurus was in the ring in Lahti last weekend. He won open dog with very good. Judge: Jouko Yrjölä
Porthos was shown three times in Slovenia last weekend. What a result! First he was 3rd in open dog with excellent, then he was 2nd best dog in the speciality with open dog win, CC and SLO CH and also got RCC during his tour. This was his SEVENTH CH TITLE which makes him MULTI CH!!! What an astonishing result Hilja :-)
Porthos adds Polish, Belarus, Baltic and Latvian CH to his titles. Congratulations Hilja & Porthos:-)
